The Deal

TCamp is a come-as-you-are environment. If that means jeans, sandals, ties, or pearls to you, then so be it. The rest of us will be casual (or possibly in bear suits). We care more about the substance of what you have to say than what you wear while saying it.

Eats

We provide you with coffee, breakfast, lunch, and snacks for both Saturday and Sunday, plus an awesome happy hour in the middle. Expect to eat well, whether you're an omnivore, herbivore or gluten-free-ivore.

Happy Hour!

Bonus! Cut loose with us after Day 1 of Camp at the TCamp Happy Hour, hosted this year on Saturday, April 28th at the Clarendon Grill from 6:00 to 8:00. We'll provide attendees with more info at the event, but know that opengov nerdery and drink specials will be in good supply.

Where is TransparencyCamp?

Founders Hall, George Mason University

3351 Fairfax Drive, Arlington, VA

Plan Your Stay

TransparencyCamp is located between the Clarendon and Virginia Square-GMU stops on the Orange Line of the DC Metro. If you're planning on using public transportation to get to Camp, locations near the Blue/Orange Line are ideal. For specific ideas, tips, and tricks on planning your TCamp trip, check out this post on the Sunlight Foundation blog.

Parking

Going AWOL from public transportation? That's okay: There's plenty of street parking in the George Mason University (GMU) area. Plus, GMU's Founders Hall (TCamp HQ) has its own parking garage where you can score a spot for only $7 a day. For more details of on-campus parking, head here.
